Our Approach

A great kitchen remodel balances layout, function, and style. Here's how we get there together.

Discovery

We start in your current kitchen, talking through what's not working — layout, storage, workflow — and what you're dreaming of instead. This is where we also introduce options you may not have considered, like custom cabinetry built in-house.

Planning & Coordination

We finalize your layout, cabinetry, countertops, and finishes, then coordinate the plumbing, electrical, and structural work behind the scenes. We build a clear schedule so you know what to expect week to week.

Execution

Our crew handles demolition, rough-in work, custom cabinet installation, tile, and countertops with hands-on oversight from Josh and the team throughout. We treat your home with the same care we'd want in our own.

Delivery & Support

We walk your new kitchen with you to confirm every detail — down to the hardware — meets our standard. It's no surprise that so many of our kitchen clients bring us back for bathrooms, flooring, and more.

Why Choose C&S for Your Kitchen Remodel

A kitchen remodel brings a lot of different pieces together, from plumbing and electrical to cabinetry, tile, countertops, and finishes. With more than 25 years of hands-on construction experience, C&S has the experience to manage the entire project and make sure everything comes together the way it should.

One of the biggest advantages of working with us is our custom cabinetry. We build cabinets in-house, giving you more flexibility with the design, layout, storage, and finishes while allowing us to coordinate the cabinetry directly with the rest of the remodel. It’s often one of our customers’ favorite parts of their finished kitchen.

We also understand how disruptive it can be to have your kitchen under construction. Our team works to keep the project moving, communicates with you throughout the remodel, and provides a clear, detailed quote before work begins. It’s the straightforward approach that’s helped C&S earn 5-star ratings for six consecutive years throughout the Tri-County area.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. C & S Construction Group did an amazing job renovating 3 bathrooms for us. Monty & Josh were consummate professionals throughout the project. There were a couple of challenges along the way. Various options & professional recommendations were presented to us right away. Pricing was fair.

We are very satisfied with our bathroom remodels & would use them again. We highly recommend C & S Construction Group.

Replaced wood handrails, pickets and posts with painted wrought iron on front and back porches. Replaced pickets on screen porch and installed cable railing system. Sanded and painted all supporting columns and posts. C&S was punctual starting and completed project in a timely manner. We are satisfied with the quality of products used and the craftsmanship of the project. C&S was quick to handle the punch list at end of project. I would hire them again.

Love my remodel, especially kitchen, pantry, bathrooms, bookshelf and flooring and no more popcorn ceiling or textured walls. Kitchen is so much brighter, love the stain on the cabinets.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Monty and his sons did an excellent job remodeling my house. We went to the studs and Monty’s crew redid everything from plumbing to electrical to tile and kitchen cabinetry. We got several quotes from various contractors and having never had a project near this scale, Monty gave me the most confidence that he could pull off everything we needed. He also gave us an extremely fair quote. Payments weren’t even needed until work was well underway! Another sign that I could trust him.

I’ve already hired Monty for more work as we’ve realized a few more updates we want added to the house - particularly more custom cabinets. I’m in love with my new kitchen cabinets. Having a builder that could make custom cabinets on top of a handling the home remodel was such a dream come true.

I’ve also recommended a few of his subcontractors to my parents and friends who have needed help with their home projects.

The only thing I would do differently was to take more of his suggestions from the start.

Monty did a great job on our beach house renovation and addition of a master bath suite. He was always easy to get in touch with, which was particularly important as we live four hours away from the site. He was professional and followed up on all the myriad details. He was proactively communicative to let me know when there were issues to be resolved. I was able to trust his subs coming and going, and in his judgment and problem solving. Our project did go over initial time estimates, but some of that was out of his control — a permitting holdup, damaged deliveries, etc. — each thing set it back. But the final result was worth the wait!
